My recent stay at Chalet Hotel L'Ecrin was a mix of highs and lows. The ski lockers and easy access to the Tuffs ski lift were convenient for our winter sports activities. The welcoming fireplace in the lobby created a cozy ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes.However, there were some disappointments during our stay. The breakfast options were limited, with no fresh fruit and overly strong coffee. The room we were allocated was not as expected, lacking the balcony we had booked for a special occasion. The cleanliness standards fell short, with dusty surfaces affecting my son's allergies.On a positive note, the friendly staff and ski pass sales point added convenience to our stay. The hotel's location in the Val Claret district, just 1.5 km from the Ecole du Ski Francais Tignes le Lac, was ideal for exploring the surrounding natural beauty. The provision of free WiFi kept us connected during our mountain retreat.In conclusion, while Chalet Hotel L'Ecrin offers practical amenities and a prime location for skiing enthusiasts, improvements in room cleanliness and breakfast variety would enhance the overall guest experience.
